Here it is, as it was when I purchased it:
And so I prepared to play with it:

After more finishing, the second re-assembly:
This is an uncommon 1:43 rendition of the first Ford V8 in sedan form; the coupe, often in hot rod format, has been done several times. I have also seen this same sedan in taxi, fire chief and military format, but this light gray version is not seen as often. I'm not sure when Eligor made this one, but it is marked "Made in France."
My changes were to straighten tires and wheels, clean the gray paint, add the black striping (I confess this is tape), paint the interior, detail exterior by black-washing the radiator grill, chroming door handles, adding the standard single windshield wiper (duals were optional), and tilting the spare tire. It's been a strange week around here with some major work going on in and around our house, so this little project has been spread over several days of just good fun. I appreciate Eligor's sharply defined metal and plastic parts.
Nice model David. I have never seen this model before and I really like it and the details you added.
Interesting model David. One I haven't seen before. I like it in sedan form.
