I recently ran into this circa 1978 Dodge 1500 Rural station wagon fitted with upgraded Rostyle wheels. I knew this was a badge engineered Hillman Avenger which was also badge engineed for a few years in the early 1970s as a Plymouth Cricket and sold in the USA as a sedan and wagon through Plymouth dealers. Apparently this was also a Dodge in other markets. This is a partworks item. Shows well with my Vanguards 1972 Hillman Avenger.
Then going back a decade or so in Hillman history I got out my Vanguards Hilllman Minx sedan and the Broooklin Minx four door wagon.

While I don't have a lot of Hillman models, I have always liked 1/1 Hillmans. Most of the makes models have appealed to me as being cleanly styled without a lot of gingerbread ornamentation.

Well, you know what they've always said, "When you bring out the Hillmans, you bring out the best." 😀 😏 😀
@ed-davis HA! As a kid, I loved commercials. As an adult, I don't even listen to them; they automatically get muted. 😐
I have a fairly decent selection of 1:43 Hillmans; sedans, wagons, Husky, convertibles; mostly Lansdowne, Oxford etc. IMO they are quite well done.
