Just seen an article in MAR Online about the 1990 Ford Cougar produced by Ixo for the "Great Mexican Cars" series.

Ford Cougar 1990

Looks like quite an attractive model and I wouldn't mind having one, but can only find a couple of sellers in Mexico and they are asking around $100 plus shipping! I'm keen, but not THAT keen. Anyone got any ideas about an alternative source?

BoS made a 1991 Mercury Cougar a few years ago.  They would be better quality and probably less expensive.  I saw a few on ebay well under $100.  The real car was sold as a Mercury in the US.  Be not forlorn...

With shipping that's £100 (US$124) for quite a plain-looking resin model (arguably not as pretty as the Ixo Mexican version) so I think I'll give it a miss, but thanks for trying.

Load an Ebay search,  be patient, you'll be surprised what turns up over time.
