New to My Collection... after a few thoughts

I am crazy about the Imperial from 1957 to 1963. They are beautiful cars that I just can't get enough of. A few short years ago, the selection of these models in this scale were very limited. You had the '57 Hardtop Sedans from NEO in resin and from Conquest in white metal.  I've had a NEO version for several years, unfortunately it routinely sheds chrome bits-so it's packed in its case until I can once again attempt repairs. I added a Conquest version from Buz a few months ago, it's a nice model. Brooklin gave us the '61 in a Coupe and a couple of colors of the convertible. I added those as well. NEO also offered a '63 Convertible in red. My least favorite model, but I have it too.

Then along came GLM. In 2015, a '58 Limousine was available-gorgeous. In 2020, a 1960 Crown Convertible was offered in several colors, all were mine. Later Kess offered a '60 LeBaron Hardtop Sedan, I chose the black one. In early 2021, the '58 Crown Convertible popped up, just too nice to resist-I added 6 of them. In mid-2021, a '61 Crown Convertible came to be, lots of colors top up or down, oh my! Then in late 2021, the '60 Ghia Limousine was available in black, very nice. Here we are in 2022, earlier this year, GLM came out with a couple more '60 Ghia Limousines. Again, gorgeous. And just recently, a '59 Crown Convertible has arrived. More color choices, so hard to resist. So, if I have counted correctly, 38 of these Imperial models are in my collection now, with a few more on the horizon in coupe and sedan options coming. Can I hope for a '62, or maybe some new options for a '57 or a better example of the '63? I will wait patiently... OK, maybe not patiently!

Here's the 1st of several '59s to join my collection.

Also, thanks to Tom Dirnberger for bringing many of these models to us, the collector. His attention to details and fine color selections have made many of these models so irresistible, I have totally enjoyed adding them to my collection.

John, that is a beautiful model. Is it time to start thinking about an addition on your house for all those future models?
