I just received this 1/43 kit in today's mail, and it looks interesting.

I haven't opened it yet, but I see no evidence of directions.  Right now I'm enjoying building a TW Collection 1:43 1962 Daimler Dart, so this BMW is just going into my "one of these days" collection for now.  But I am not familiar with this German construction and so far haven't found anything.   I thought I would post what I have just in case.

Enjoy!   David H Exhausted

(later) I checked in good old dependable Hobbydb and found a similar or the same BMW 1500 unassembled.  It was listed as a Tin Wizard (brand) and Danhausen (series).  Here is the Hobbydb entry.

See https: //www.maronline.org.uk/modelcar-danhausen-bmw-1500/   for the whole story of this interesting models.  Diecast Zone stalwart Maz Woolley wrote a fine article, with pictures, a few years ago that says it all.  Thanks, Maz!

BMW 1500 kit by Danhausen Models (who later became Paul's Model Art  a.k.a. Minichamps).

This kit was reviewed in MAR Online about a year ago. No build instructions included, unfortunately, but it looks like a fairly straightforward build and the article may provide some interesting background.

Just click the link below.

Thanks, Graeme.  I must have been adding my research results as you were doing the same.  I also went on eBay and found several Danhausen models, including some kits, that look interesting.   I may adjust my future building schedule.    Enjoy!    David H

I've built several Danhausen models. They generally go together well with less filling and filing than my John Day kits. You should have fun with this one David.
