I guess you'd have to be close to royalty to afford this beautiful 1934 Packard 12 Victoria Convertible bodied by Dietrich in the middle of the Depression.. Raymond Dietrich was a busy man. His company created "semi-customs" for Packard building Packard bodies and just adding custom features for clients. Dietrich customs closed in 1936 with him heading Le Baron coachworks. He was also head of Chrysler Design until 1938. He then freelanced as Dietrich, Inc. and worked with Checker Cab, producing a prototype FWD cab as well as the production A2 model. He retired in 1960 to Kalamazoo, Michigan which was the home of Gibson Guitars. Gibson talked him out of retirement to design a new line of solid body guitars. The result was the famous "reverse" Gibson Firebird in 1963 with a companion bass, the Thunderbird designed to compete with Fender.
Looks beautiful.
