Unfortunately it's not fictitious, you're right Harv! W O would have wept. There's an excellent programme on building Bentleys and it's basically a factory tour. Having been on a factory tour a few years ago I, along with others who have been on the same tour, can understand why Bentleys cost what they do. Before the tour, others were asking, 'How can they justify charging so much?' After the tour the general word was 'How can they makes these for so little?' I remember on almost all occasions I conducted factory tours at Brooklin Models hearing the same sentiments at each end of the tour!
It's an authentic available color for Bentley, but not to this 1:43 Bentley collector's taste. For me this only takes the place of a more elegant option. But maybe in a lighter silvery version of that same shade I'd grab it.
Sure is whimsical though!
Not my cup of tea but then someone probably likes it.
@john-roberts Yeah, W. O. is probably turning in his grave over this one, certainly a car for Hollywood femme fatales and music divas. I probably would not have bought it except: 1) it was on sale, 2) I love Bentleys, and 3) my daughter wants to inherit all my pink cars.
Paris Hilton huh? Now there's person to emulate...not.
I kind of like the pink Bentley-and even considered looking for one of my own. But I am probably not a good judge since I like and have almost all of the Brooklin Pink Collection models issued.
