I have a few from the last 1/4 of the 20th century. Ertl made a respectable 1988 Mustang 5.0 GT in a very typical dark gray metallic over light gray metallic with a blue stripe in between. I remember seeing a lot of these 30+ years ago.

In 1993 Ford built the Mach III show car. Though an open 2-seat roadster, there were design cues that found their way into the 1994 Mustang. A bit of an obscure model for a diecast manufacturer, in this case Joueff (Universal Hobbies). Note that Joueff got the date wrong. Two were built, the red one destroyed in a fire, but a green one survived.

Road Champs made a diecast of a Vortech-supercharged 1998 Mustang Cobra. This was from a series of cars that included a replica car mag cover.
