This 1954 Packard Panther Daytona, designed by Dick Teague was one of four built. This two seater personal luxury convertible was powered by a 275 hp supercharged 327 cid flat head V8 through their Ultramatic transmission. ( a bit of a throwback as Packard was already advertising their OHV version). One was made with a fiberglass hardtop which still exists today. You have to believe that design could have sold well. The model is #17 of 400.

FYI Rich didn't list the maker (Matrix). I have #36. The model was issued back in 2015.

@jcarnutz For coming into the 1/43 hobby a bit later than many of us, you’ve still made up a lot of ground! 😀

I admire your determination and your discerning taste.

I hope to one day have space to display all the one offs and show cars in my collection. Matrix has come out with some great ones, including this Panther.
