Those are very neat items to obtain ! Pretty cool.
It's a great part of history! May be if you keep them, it will be wonderful for future museum!
Interesting board Randy. I imagine it would only be of interest to someone with an extensive Brooklin collection or for an addition to a museum display. I have similar items from the Matchbox Yesteryear series and know that these currently are not of high value to the general collector public.
Yes, I was disappointed when I missed them all on ebay last year when the factory sold off a bunch (for a very cheap price, I felt). I captured them all and stuck them on hobbydb for posterity! [edited]
@david-green I know what you mean! When I first learned of the blown apart shadow boxes from Matchbox MOY, I just had to have them. In the process, I probably paid twice what they're worth today (unfortunately). Still, they're neat pieces but hold little value - much like most of my MOYs.
@karl I'm not able to locate these from this link. It's showing a bunch of action figures.
@whodeytink And yet, no one bid on it. But it has been relisted at a lower price. For those of us in the US, the shipping charge is a deal breaker. It's almost as much as the asking price.
@randyrusk Sorry, the raw link was too long for Forum43. Try this: Brooklin Boards
@randyrusk Saw that. Yes the delivery price is really high. I'm surprised someone in Europe didn't buy it since the shipping would have been cheaper for them, maybe.
