This little green beauty arrived just in time to celebrate tomorrow ☘️

I got it from Boutique Auto Moto, located in Paris, France. Even with the overseas shipping, it came out less expensive than anything I could find elsewhere.

The "jaunty" look of this Sport Roadster just brings a smile to my face!

What a nice looking model. Love the colour on this 1949 Dodge Wayfarer.

Thanks, David! The color is "Island Green".

Also, it's a 1950. The grille design and taillight treatment were different from the '49.

Thanks Moe, that 1949 was a guess on my part. I almost said 1950. Nice looking vehicle no matter what.

Nice pictures Barry. When Brooklin offered the Coupe and Roadster I was all over both of them. I have tried to find a set of the wheel covers like the Coupe has to swap the wire wheels on the Roadster.

Point well-taken, Bob, as an "entry-level" model, I don't think wire wheels (or fender skirts, either) would be commonly seen on the Wayfarer. Brooklin looks to have replicated this 1:1 which was featured in a Hemmings article:

The Owner states that the wheels were likely dealer-installed.

I did that with mine, fitted wheels from a coupe and saved the Kelsey Hayes wires for a 1954 Dodge Royal hardtop as they would have been an option in that year.

What a great-looking Dodge Wayfarer ! It is in a terrific color here too. I was almost able to score a nice used Brooklin of this automobile some time ago, but hopefully I can do so in the future.

It's hard to find and all the ones on eBay are quite expensive. This wasn't the first time I found it cheaper from overseas (France this time, but also Germany, Italy, and UK). Feel like this green one should have come from Ireland LOL 🍀
