Back in 2006, John Roberts did a Brooklin ‘58 Impala  Coupe in Aegean Turquoise with a white top. It’s been one of my favorites. The interior detail is incredible. The color match to the actual car is much closer than these pictures show.

David: what a great looking Impala. I've always believed that the early Brooklins have the potential to look like much more expensive models after being in the hands of the right craftsman. John Roberts work here is a prime example. Thanks for posting.

Beautiful work by a master.  I'm sure this is a favorite, David.   Enjoy!  And thanks for posting it alongside the 1:1.

In my view this Impala is one of Brooklin’s best releases of all time especially, as Ken Spear points out, when enhance by a master craftsman such as John Roberts. The shape and proportions of this model are virtually perfect.

A lovely model and significant improvement over the original Brooklin.  I have several models redone by John Roberts and each one is extremely well done.
