IÂ Google searched a certain model from China and came across a site called Aliexpress. Although I have heard of this site, I do not have an account with them or have ever used them. Can anyone who has experience ordering from them give me your feedback both positive and negative. Would you order from them again? Thanks.
They are the Chinese version of Amazon. As such, they represent a huge variety of vendors. You will most likely be dealing with a particular vendor rather than Aliexpress. I've ordered several items from them and have never had a problem. However, if you do encounter an issue, there's is little that can be done about it.Â

I second what John said. I've had a positive experience on 3 purchases there so far.

Ken, John's analogy is correct, however, I NO longer use them.
My first experience was positive; the item arrived timely & without issue.
I tired purchasing 3 OTHER items (3 sperate transactions ) but weeks after payments were made, I was informed the items were not available. A refund was issued, but 9 weeks had elapsed from "payment to refund."
When this scenario repeated itself 3 times, I vowed "never again!" Furthermore, I know 2 others with IDENTICAL experiences. Prices appear reasonable for unique items but it's just NOT worth the aggravation.Â
"Enter at your own risk." 🙄 😯 😬Â
I’ve made a few (small dollar amount) purchase's from Aliexpress with positive results.Â
BUT - being Amazon-like, please be wary of counterfeit items. I heard about counterfeit items on Amazon. Then friends and acquaintances were having bad experiences. with counterfeit, stale or expired items. Finally, I purchased counterfeit (non functional) insulin pen needles on Amazon.Â
I’ve been purchasing on-line for over 20 years. Nowadays I pay the extra and purchase directly from manufacturers.Â
I agree. I also prefer to purchase directly from manufacturers. It has been a few years, since I bought anything from Amazon.

AliExpress is where I picked up my Xerox Duesenberg at a great price. My only regret is that I can’t stop all the promo emails they continue to send me for crap I’d never buy. The unsubscribe info is all in Chinese.
