Randy showed us a nice set of Alfa Romeo Figoni spiders a while ago - but they still have not been released by Matrix: https://diecast.org/community/1_43/coming-in-26-from-matrix/#post-219004
However, I then went back to my xls list to see what Matrices I had missed. I still lack several; they are not available on the 'Bay or are all in Italia at $$$... This one was 'make an offer' so I did. Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GS Figoni Coupe 1933, a beautiful French curvy Italian coupe! How did I miss then when it came out? In any case I put in an offer equal to my last new Matrix price and it was accepted. The double win is that it was being sold by a non-profit Museum, so they keep the proceeds! The National Museum of Transportation is in St. Louis - check it out if you are in the area.
The black and white paint job is very Bugatti-esque but it works well on this style Coupe. This article calls it one of a kind and showed it on display at Sydney Harbour! Same license plate as well!
It's been restored for a while at Villa D'Este 2012 - https://www.madle.org/evilla12c.htm Check out the rear view at this link. I checked out the 1:43 Matrix to make sure it has that V-crease in the back - it does!
Congratulations Karl on snapping this one up !

Congrats Karl; it's a beauty and the color application is awesome!
Originally from the St. Louis area I can recommend a visit if you are ever in the area. The museum has everything from a Chrysler Turbine car to a Union Pacific Big Boy locomotive.
Nice snag, Karl. BTW, I've bought several models from them. They are easy to deal with and readily accept reasonable offers.

@karl I’d be interested in your experience with this seller. They seem to come in really high in their listings.
As John said above, they were easy to deal with - fast to ship the item and it was well packed. Their 'buy it now' price was high but they accepted a reasonable offer (not a low offer).
Karl maybe I'm missing something in the post but I cannot find the name or web/ebay address of the seller you and John are referring to? Purchasing on the U.S. ebay to Australia over the last couple of years has become a nightmare. I'd appreciate any contact with a proactive reputable seller. Thanks.@karl I’d be interested in your experience with this seller. They seem to come in really high in their listings.
