While these won’t be out until the second quarter of 2026, here’s a preview of some coming models from Matrix…

Wow...very nice indeed and quite a diverse bunch too.  The Zodiac is a must have for me.  I don't recall seeing this Marcos done in 1/43 before; it's a beauty!

Nice selection here, Randy. I would like the last three. The Marcos is especially of interest as they were reassembled in Toronto, Canada for the North American market in a factory not far from my house from 1968. I visited a few times before I moved out of Toronto in August 1970. Sat in a few but but never drove a Marcos.

@ed-davis

Built in Britain, then partially disassembled, packed in shipping crates to Canada where they were put back together. I saw engines, suspensions and wheel assemblies being put together in their small factory in North York and the cars being tested on local roads.

@sizedoesmatter John, I agree with you on the white Figoni roadster.   Black always hides the details I feel in 1/43 scale.  But the close-ups of the white one seem a bit toy-like (wheels and shutlines).  But the white one is still for me; my own eyes will never focus down that closely!  😀    I always seem to like the open versions better (maybe the top up always seems too plasticy), but in this case the model looks better to me with top up!  Choices, choices!

In any case, I wondered about this unusual French Alfa, not common for Figoni to do these at all.  Going down the rabbit hole, I saw the black version captured in photos in 2010 at Monza on the AlfaBB site.  NAS 801, same plate!   The white Matrix version carries the same number, but in a different style and location.  Turns out, the black one was restored into 'Figoni' colors of white and black.  It shows up on several auction sites and sold in 2023 for only $1.2 mil!!!  Looks like it is for sale again!  Any takers? So the black and the white models are the same car!

That Mercedes limo sure is impressive.  And, if I collected foreign cars that Zodiac would be an addition to the fleet.

EMC made the 1750 coupe by Figoni. There were two or three versions, I have the original version - the present car won several classes at Pebble Beach in 2012. My model is #9 of 50.

Won't be buying the Marcos - too much like my Automodello which was signed by Jem Marsh.

@mg-harv I do have both cars: from EMC Pivtorak and from Matrix too. The Matrix' one is much bigger than EMC, but I keep both in collection:
