If anyone follows The Who, they know of M'sieur Entwistle, but few knew of his redone 1980 Rolls Royce SS II Shooting Brake, which sold in 2013 for 43,700GBP. I fell in love with the car and I have found one online and hope to acquire it this week, with a bit of negotiation. Matrix is the maker.
@perrone1 ...HA! I dare say most every State has a few - I've seen them in more than one. But the largest concentration is in CA., where I've seen kids cruise around in them like it was no big thing. And undoubtedly, they go to 7-11 for Slurpees. 😉 😉
In the early 1980's, while in high school, my friend was allowed to borrow his girlfriend's mother's brand-new, loaded, silver w/silver & blue interior, Buick Electra 225 sedan.

We felt just like Bel Air rich kids! 🙄 🙄 🙄
Oh YES; the vaunted deuce and a quarter!! LOVE it!!
Just one time, I want to drive up to a 7-11 with this bad boy, and come out with a Slurpee.
A friend from the Saugatuck area had a white Corniche over blue convertible. We visited one summer and he invited me for a ride. No shoes he said, you'll love the carpet. Off we go to downtown, me barefoot and in a tanktop and shorts. Imagine the astonished looks when I got out to use the public restroom in the middle of town!
His previous car was a 1959 Cadillac Series 62 convertible. I got to ride in that in zipped up leather jacket, top down, heater on blast the day after a snowstorm.
Unfortunately, in spite of your support, sites refers to locations, whereas sights is related to vision. English is a beautiful language, but even at my age one can be tripped up by the delicate differences.
