A German distributor has commissioned a very limited edition of 40 of the 1959 Cadillac Coupe de Ville in Vegas turquoise poly. Only four of them are coming to Burbanks... Not normally my vein of collecting but the very limited nature was appealing to me so one of those four will be on its way to me.
Looks great, and congrats! One of 40 is pretty special. 😎 😎 😎
They are way more expensive at wholesale than the regular edition, so I have passed.
I have one 1959 Cadillac, I cannot justify to add another one just because of the LE color.
What a beautiful color for this giant 1959 Cadillac ! I currently have a couple of '59 Cadillacs, although both are in 1/18 scale.
I'm still waiting for my Woodrose Poly LE so I didn't go for this one but I really like it.
Mint Models has announced today a "Dealer" special edition Stamp model of a '59 Cadillac Coupe de Ville all red with red/white interior. (only $149.00)

Hmm..... 🤔 🤔 🤔 I owned a 1959 CDV for ten years but never heard of this color. The only 1959 Cadillac "red" I'm familiar with is "Seminole Red."
@chris yes, this is a fantasy color, and the run for this exclusive edition is 109 pcs (while the regular edition STM59601 Seminole Red was 99 pcs).
Maybe Stamp got the color wrong the first time and then sold the whole defective batch cheap to Carmodel? who now sells it as exclusive color with nice italian name?
P.S. Not sure why, but I've ordered it)
"Maybe Stamp got the color wrong the first time....."
Yeah, who knows..... but it sure looks like Seminole Red and it's a nicely done replica so.... enjoy! 😎 😎 My first 1/43 '59 was this Dinky - which has fairly decent proportions, but it's light-years behind today's resin beauties!
@chris Below is my Stamp 1959 Coupe de Ville Seminol Red in 1/43. The color is actually much lighter than on Carmodel's images of this model. The "Rosso Pastello" color should be even more lighter.

They look identical to me..... when you can eventually photograph both, please post. I'd love to see the difference. Seminole red is gorgeous, my 1:1 was Gotham Gold - which I didn't necessarily care for, but I regret selling it.
Legacy Diecast has both Red 1959 Cadillacs in stock. To me, they appear to be the same color and interior but with a $20 price difference.
Did anyone mention another color of Stamp's 1959 Cadillac CDV - Wood Rose Poly?
Found it on eBay.
