@carcass1996 Isn't there a Meridian Taupe version coming too? Or is this Wood Rose Poly? Spark made a sedan in this color.
"1959 Cadillac CDV - Wood Rose Poly."
I've never seen this color in person but have always loved it. I guess this color was more for the ladies? 🤔 🤔 🤔
I hope I'm not abusing this topic with photos.
Below is a comparison of 1/43 Stamp '59 CDV Seminol Red with 1/18 AutoArt '59 Convertible 1/18 Stamp '59 CDV of the same color (more or less):
Well, I caved. I am desperately trying to limit my multiple color options for new models. Until I can get my collection back under control' LOL! I don't have the room for multiple colors. Unfortunately, Stamp's '59 Cadillac is a very nice model and my favorite all-around Cadillac. Now I have 4 of them already and I couldn't resist the 2 special colors of Wood Rose and Vegas Turquoise, so I found two dealers overseas that I've dealt with before and I have one of each coming. My fleet of 1959 Cadillac models is certainly going to have a wide range of color.

HA! Well said - and I understand completely! Sometimes, I truly wonder: Are we collectors or just cognitively challenged? 🤨 🤨
@jcarnutz Wow! You may have a Caddy Kaleidoscope there John!
@carcass1996 That looks absolutely beautiful. Can't wait for mine to arrive.
The "Pastello rosso" red 1959 CDV has arrived today and I had the opportunity to compare it with the Seminole Red.
It's plain red (the label says just RED, no "Pastello Rosso" BS), similar to the same year Corvette Roman Red, NONMETALLIC, a bit on pink side, a tiny bit lighter than the Seminole Red. All red ambulances I have are of this color.
The Seminole Red is METALLIC (which AFAIK is incorrect - I went and checked the 1959 Cadillac paint chips, it doesn't have "poly" in its name), a bit on orange side.
Put together, the models look quite different, I didn't have to guess which is which when I had to return them to the boxes.
Also, the carton box of the Seminole Red is the old one, without the company's address and email, and the box of the Red one has the address and email, like other Stamp models of 2025.
Besides color, the models do not have other differences.
On the group photos below RED is on the left, SEMINOLE RED is on the right.
