that front end just reeks art deco. Unfortunately Automodello have sold out of both this and the Chicago cab version.
"That front end just reeks art deco."
The first time I saw one I thought it was a custom car and was very surprised to learn it was 100% factory stock..... a wild look even today. It's a great model Rich!
Loving this era Checker...a perfect example!!

I have the NY version and love it. When I was about 7 years old, my mom, dad and brother were in NY on vacation and we got a ride in one of these Checkers with the back open. Great memories of a time long ago. Automodello did a terrific job on this model.
I bought mine from John K and am super happy with it. Just love that Art Deco styling.
This was a car I was never even aware of until this outstanding model was produced.
It's a great model and very well executed. Here's some background,

@jkuvakas Nice (vintage ) review John. 😉
Two things:
1) No trunk? So.... bags/luggage went inside the car or on that luggage rack?
2) I'm shocked to learn that Checker's basic platform was used for 4 decades, amazing!
Fine images of this remarkable automobile ! A beautifully-done replica.
Checker at its most interesting to me. I still need to add this early Checher to my collection.
