(PIC) There are several "Collectible software" sellers on eB, where I purchased...
this about 10 years ago.The "red" descriptors are customizable as are the drop-downs. Lots of info can be stored here.

John...do you know about JSS software? It is a model car inventory software site (link) and also is a model car forum that I have been a member for about 10 years.
I never purchased the software, so I don't know much about it.
The gentleman who runs it is super friendly.
You also might recognize some names over there on the forums.

For over 25 years I have maintained an inventory first it was on a data base program until that was not supported by my latest computer but it translated to an Excel spread sheet easily. There are multiple columns with name of car, year and model of vehicle, maker of the model, color, country of origin, box, (yes or no), date acquired, price paid and who acquired from. One row for each item. If interested in a sample segment, contact me.

This one is "My Own Collectibles" software, but any of them are about the same. I haven't ...

I just use an Excel sheet. Originally, my handwritten records..
...were loosely based on the charts in the Cecil Gibson Dinky book. Most of that has morphed into Excel today, though I still have Word and other prior software records to update, including just a few old handwritten tables. But Excel is great for ordering to find out, say, how many Packards I have.
Collectors programs have too many flaws, gaps, and extraneous info for me. For example, which program would list this!

Harvey, that is a nice Topolino? Here an example in Excel I use
I have Excel files for Brands with larger number models and for smaller brands called for instance "Divers USA models", or "Divers handbuilt" etc. Plus every model is pictured and filed under name and year.
