While recently surfing EBay I came upon a whole range of 43rd scale buses and coaches. These are made in Sri Lanka of all places and they are described as made of "Eco-foam board (Like heavy cardboard)". The shape, livery and size seemed good so I took a flyer and ordered a Prevost H3 45 which the seller agreed to produce in Greyhound livery per my request since the Ebay one was in plain white. According to the cardboard box it came in, well packed and in relatively short time from Sri Lanka, these are "Handmade Models by Shameel. Upon arrival I was quite impressed, the livery is spot on for a very modern Greyhound, it has rolling wheels, duals on the non tag axle in the rear, there is a drivers seat and steering wheel visible through a clear/tinted windscreen. All the surfaces are flat (and so are the ones on the real thing) but coated with a very shiny paint scheme, running dog logo, etc. and black side windows. All in all, for a model made from ecofoam board I am quite impressed. The extensive range on Ebay from this seller includes a Continental Trailways Silver Eagle, A Super Golden Eagle huge articulated coach, a Neoplan Megaliner, a Volvo in Greyhound livery, and MCI J4500 in Coach USA livery and many more some in other scales. So maybe busses are not everyones cup of tea but I was pleased to add this one to my bus shelf. And FYI, Prevost is a Canadian intercity coach manufacture who now apparently supply Greyhound and many are converted into private mega motor homes. Shown here with a GLM Studebaker Hawk for size comparison.

Are the tires and wheels foam board too? - looks impressive for what it is!
It looks good ! GMC used to make a punch-out cardboard model of their motorhome. Our family had both the real motorhome and some of the pages of the model on it because GMC was a major client of my Dad's. I wonder if I could find any of those cardboard pages around ? If I paint it black, it is the "Urban Assault Vehicle" from the movie "Stripes" !

Tires seem to be of some dense foam rubber, wheels likely the same material as the bus but with more texture.
