One of our lightly used forums has been repurposed for new content and is now called "Model-Related Handicrafts". Please post your custom builds, reworks, repaints, modified models, dioramas, and anything you feel has been given loving care and/or detailing attention. It is also a place where you can post how-tos, ask questions about paint and detailing techniques, tips for modelers and detailers, resources for supplies and tools, etc. All scales are appropriate. Standard forum guidelines apply. Enjoy! It's a hobby! We should be having fun!
I've posted a few articles to give you some ideas. But they're just thought starters. Be creative!

A job well worth while. This particular metallic ice-blue, with just a hint of green was so prevalent in the '60s and it looks so good. Occasionally we see manufacturers resurrect it, but rarely as successfully as the original tone. You've captured it 100%, especially with the white interior.
Nice work on the car and diorama. Did all those parts open on the original model?

You did so much great work on it - it's not a Dinky anymore, it's a Domy!

@domi7777 The model is truly stunning and the diorama it is in is fantastic. Excellent all round skills set you have.
Looking forward to the next Domy Toys release!

@david-knight, it works the same way this one does. All the forums work the same way.

Yes, just give it another try, David.
Adding a new topic, inserting a title, entering text, attaching files and clicking "Add reply" works absolutely the same as on Forum 43 or any other forum.
You didn't by any chance overlook a message to "login or register to add a reply"? It still happens to me quite regularly, goodness knows why, but at least the dreaded "Recapcha" is a thing of the past, you just click OK and suddenly the stupid system "remembers" you and welcomes you back!

p.s. 2 minutes later. Just saw you have posted successfully on the new forum. so all's well.
