Automodello question:
My '34 Packard Twelve Convertible Victoria arrived
from Legacy Motors yesterday. I had pre-ordered the
triple navy blue one, to me the paint looks black.
Even under bright light it still looks black to me,
does anyone out there have this model in navy blue?
Just curious as to your thoughts.
Brian.
BTW it's a great model!

My blue one is on B/O ?? So I don't have it yet. The red one arrived yesterday. It's gorgeous.
I haven't had the opportunity to take it out if the box yet. When the blue arrives, I'll let you know.

It's a very deep blue. In some lights lit does look black but in the natural light, it's shows the blue. It's a very fine model, to say the least. Beautiful detail and presentation and Automodello is to be commended. I'm anxious to get the Duesenberg.
According to Automodello, a black version is the most limited (and I assume most expensive of them all). Brian, maybe yours is black!
on the way
John - I just checked - your blue one will ship out from Legacy on Monday.
Cool! Thanks.

No, it has a medium to dark blue top & interior...
...when I shine a a LED flashlight on it the color
seems to be a dark purple. In natural sunlight it
does seem to have a very dark blue tint to it.
It is a beautifully done highly detailed model however.
Thanks for all of your input.

They show the blue as the Tribute Edition -link http://www.diecasm.com/automodello
Black must be sold out: "The super-rare Homage Edition is black with a black top and tan interior, and limited to just 24 hand-numbered pieces. "
Mine is Dark but definately Navy Blue Not Black.
