Bang Models was an Italian model manufacturing company, founded in 1990 by Carlo Tamburini, initially specializing in 1/43 Ferrari, then quickly expanded to other marques. It picked up where Box Models left off with some of their molds. They ceased operations in 2005.
MERCEDES 300 SL COUPES LE MANS 1952, #21 Won, #20 came second. It would be Mercedes' one and only Le Mans victory until it finally won again in 1989.

due to cost of producing models in Italy and not wanting to produce in China...

I like Bang models and am always on the lookout for them. I think they're decently priced and pretty accurate. But what's the dal with a bunch of Maseratis from the 1950s and 1960s. They're going for over $100 each! Anyone know why? Where there special editions? Also, I've seen a few Bang models with the Revell model logo on the box. Did Revell own them at one time?

Those are some interesting questions you’ve posed. if I’m not mistaken I bought a couple of Bang Ford GTs probably over 20 years ago from a model car show and gave them to my brother. what he’s done with them now I don’t know. I wish I had them.

@l-m-delage The Revell Bang boxes I have seen are Distributed in Germany by Revell, so perhaps they are just the German examples....

Wishful thinking from the sellers, perhaps? Ebay sold prices range from $US 20s to 60s, which seem much more reasonable...

@l-m-delage Are they going for that or is it just speculation? The highest completed auction figure I see is $57, with a bunch in the $20-35 range.
