I went back and did some research on these BANG Maseratis. Go to eBay and type in "1/43 Bang Maserati" and they'll pop up.
They're offered for sale by SpeedAficianado.
Examples: a '57 450S raced by Shelby at Riverside goes for $119.20; another '57 450S raced by Behra/Fangio @ Sebring goes for $103.20; an A6GCS from the 1955 Mille Miglia clocks in at $103.20.
The seller says they are Limited Editions. Are they limited editions because of the specificity of the race, car number, driver, etc.? Other makers always do this: Box, Best, Art, Top, Vitesse and currently Brumm always does this.
Just some thoughts.
@l-m-delage Check the box for completed items and see what the actual sales are.
My only Bang model: the Ferrari 250 GTE...
Last pick shows the silver Bang in die cast next to the also excellent Matrix resin in yellow.

I finally got around to investigating these high priced Bang models and yes he seems to have sold a 1958 Ferrari for over $103 plus shipping. Incredible! Other than approaching him to ask what's so special about these models, I'm not going to pursue it further. Bang went out of business decades ago. Maybe he's selling the originals as vintage models.
