Beautiful! For the hot-rodder who likes a little luxury with his speed!Â

Ken, that 1937 Buick street rod looks excellent ! You did a fine job on this one and that color is exceptionally nice.
Ken, I love that paint job on your model. When Brooklin makes their next hot rod, I hope they do a nice, bright paint like you used.

One further point. The bottom appears to have fallen out on Brooklin models, excluding the new issues over the past 2-3 years. I managed to pick up 10 Brooklin model 3 and 5 window coupes from the 1930s each under $50 for my street rod conversions. If you follow the secondary market on Ebay closely and if you are patient, you can find many other Brooklin releases for under $50 that 1 year ago sold for over $100.
Data challenge accepted! I already dumped out some 2022 data and organized it - so I added on last month's sold prices to the graph! Â
US$ Sold Prices (inc postage)
year - min - max - avg
2022Â Â 9Â 450 95
2024Â Â 17 263 83
I don't know if the drop in the avg is significant statistically - I don't have my good stats packages anymore now that I am retired...

The drop in Brooklin prices was started by a few large sellers who unloaded a ton of Brooklins. Brooklin (BMoutlet) sold a couple of hundred models at blowout prices. My purchases included a 1940 Lincoln Zephyr for $39, a 1934 Ford, 1938 Chrysler, 1937 Studebaker,1936 Buick at $38 each. Some had parts requiring reattachment but overall, they were in new condition. Others from a different seller included a 1956 T-bird for $15, a 1959 Mercury wagon for $40, a 1955 Chrysler Windsor convertible for $50,a 1930 Ford 5 window coupe for $27, a 1954 Buick for $60,and a 1953 Ford sedan and 1949 Lincoln for $65 each. I believe that this started a trend and alot of other sellers used these sale prices to list their models. Now is the time to search for some good buys.
