Brooklin 1949 Buick Sefanette

I for the most part collect only diecast or white metal cars. I think Brooklin models have produced mostly accurate models but the 49 Buick has always been is drastic need of improvement due to much too wide front end clip. The motor city captured the correct proportion as does the GLM versions.

I have thought and pondered taking this correction on as a project and have finally completed it. I hope you enjoy photos of the outcome and comparison photos of the existing car and the modified one.

What an amazing job. I have a couple of the Brooklin models because they were significant as a Brooklin and a Buick. The overall look of the model has always troubled me. It definitely looks off. You've corrected that and in a wonderful way as well. I am still waiting for my GLM/Stamp versions to arrive, so I'll see if they have done credit to the magnificent 1:1.
