Brooklin Diaries "Hello and welcome to another look at some of the projects that we are working on here at Brooklin Models.
The brass master for the BRK 230 is here. This is a 1951 Nash Healey LeMans Roadster.
Tim is sanding some wooden display bases (for which project? top secret!), Andy found a great way to mount pieces for spraying (using old moulds) and the assembly team are building the BML 16A. See you next week!"

Thank you, John. I sometimes confuse the Nash Healy models, so here is the '51. (pic)

I hope BRK avoids those whitewall tires!
Nash Healey
I believe whitewalls were perfect for this car, in 1951, when it was new. Just like whitewalls are shown on all of the 1953-54 Corvettes, and 1955-57 Thundeerbirds. You have to go with what was popular in that era. The only time Black tires are shown in advertising and in manufacturers brochures, is in 1952, because of the Korean war. I personally like whitewalls on most all cars of the era from 1937 up, except for low priced models. Just my own preference, of course. Same with fender skirts, love them on most cars, and sun visors, dislike them tremendously on all cars.
I don't remember ever seeing one of these, and I think it is BEAUTIFUL!
50 cars
Your right Steve it is beautiful, and don't the cars of the 50's put to shame the design and colors of the cars of the last 50 years.
Definitely !! I can hardly tell one make from another anymore. It's sad.
At least Mustangs, Camaros, and Challengers still stand out.
The rest is just a sea of gray.
And Corvette. It still looks distinctly unique.
Even more so for 2020!
