John, the last picture appears to show a 1942 DeSoto model. Am I correct, and is this a NB Center model?

Yes, it will be a higher detailed model.

Me. It would be a nice edition to my Buick collection.

Personally, for that amount of money, I would ideally prefer a post war car.
I wouldn't trade mine for anything Ken....I have a beautifully enhanced one....I bought it from the same seller that I got my enhanced WM '41 Oldsmobile from.
And of course I have the WMCE '41 Buick convertible
Your two-tone model is gorgeous.
I would still add an NB Center '41 Buick fastback if Brooklin offered it.
The 1941 Buick is an " overcooked " model in 1/43 scale. I had all of them before decades ago and the newest are not even better and mostly inaccurate aside from the GLM Roadmaster Convertible.
What we really need is a manufacturer to do a 1942 model that would make the gap between the early and mid 40's.

I agree that year is overcooked, but I stated I would buy an NB Center model because the 1:1 car already exists in the NB Center.
If it didn't already exist in the center, I wouldn't want another '41, although I can never have too many fastbacks.
I would love to see a 1941 NB Center Buick. It is a great looking car and they would undoubtedly to a fine job on it.
