Does anyone know why Brooklin chose to make the engine model?

If there is a V16 Cadillac in the NB collection this would explain it.
But If Brooklin were going to use its talents on an engine model, and given their branching out into new areas like historic boats------I say do Rolls Royce's spectacular Merlin engine. Of course it does have an automotive connecction, being designed by RR and built by RR and Packard.
But mainly because everyone knows those brave pilots of the Battle of Britain used it to blow the Nazis out of the skies while outnumbered 4 to 1...Its renowned historic sigificance would make it collectable by a wide audience just because of that, especially now with the dramatic increase in WWII history. The model could therefore be made known to---and be sold to -- more than car crazies like us: historic aircraft crazies, history crazies....And then comes the key tie-in: "Oh, and by the way we at Brooklin Scale Models make these fantastic model cars..." getting Brooklin's name out there to people who would never come across Brooklin in a billion years. And Ive been amazed at how few people are even aware of an entire world of models of 'real' cars, not of race subjects, tiny enough to disply easily yet with spectacular levels of detail. [Imagine a Brooklin print ad in DuPont Registry, read by people with wide ranging interests and disposable income. I advertized my gourmet chocolate there]. Far more folk need to be made aware of Brooklin and of the hobbby in general. Maybe i've gotten way ahead of myself here, and I know i've brought this up before, but from my business perspective [and from years of watching Shark Tank!!] this makes sense on several levels for a company that could indeed benrfit from completely new exposure.
I know Nicola Bulgari has such personal enthusiasm for the company's offerings and if he comes across this suggestion perhaps he'll give it a thought. Of course perhaps he has, and decided not to do it for various business reasons. After all, his firm is world-class successful and in biz it's tough to argue with success. My little co.--was perhaps less so.
But if Brooklin builds it, I'll pounce on any preorder like a grizzly on a salmon to put Job #1 on display.
