When I bought the Ixo model of the 1970 Camaro Z28, I lamented that a) it was red and b) besides a blackwashed grille, it had no additional details over the American Cars series model for sale in Europe. Recently I found one of the latter:

DeAgostini 2 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 1970 pic2

I examined both and the grille blackwash or lack thereof is the only difference I spotted, aside from different shades of wheel color and the packaging. Here are both:

Oh, and the license plates are different.

Beautiful replicas of that iconic ‘70 Camaro, Harv.  I remember when they came out. I thought they were gorgeous.  They still look good today.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price when I saw one of the red ones!

@david-knight David when I saw the initial brochure for them as a teenager, I thought so too. They looked like Ferraris to me.

I LOVE them ! I've always been a Mustang lover but when the '70 Camaros and Firebirds came out I was ecstatic. Sure the 'stang was available in 3 body styles but the GM's ponies just looked so cool. When I was looking to get one, in 1974, I was able to get a '70 Trans-Am that was in like new condition. Yes, I regret selling it a year later because it was my daily driver and I couldn't afford the gas.
