I decided to remove the Modelex decals on the green one and the Wessex decals on the maroon one. I also went with black tires on the green one. I like them much better like this. I suppose it may devalue them but no matter.

They look good Jack. I learned a long time ago that I do what I like rather than worry about what other people think.

@jkuvakas JK; I'm just glad that the decals were water soluble; not so with Durhams.

I'd never considered this. Now I'll be looking for the Modelex 1951 Brooklin Ford.

Lol....I did just that with my Modelex '51 Ford HT; it looks great IMO.

Seriously? I didn't know that. Is there a way to remove the decals from a Durham?
Not that I'm aware of John; they seem to have a clear coat over them. I'm no model expert at all though; perhaps another Forumite has experience with Durhams.
