Brooklin has a grey Weller-Desoto Combination car in their Professional series. Is this a hearse?

"Combination car".
Not a term used in the UK, and I don't think we have such vehicles over here, but in the U.S. it means a dual-role "professional car" or "community service vehicle" which can be used as either a hearse (funeral coach) or an ambulance, as required.
With some small adjustments it can be quickly configured to carry either a stretcher/gurney or a coffin/casket.
Presumably the look of the vehicle and its interior decor were designed to be fairly "neutral", so patients being taken to hospital didn't feel they had reached the end of the road, and dead people didn't have their hopes raised unduly.

Interesting, by the way, that the Brooklin isn't the same vehicle as the "blueprint" image on the box (maybe that was just intended as a generic image of the "combination" body configuration?)

It is an ambulance , there is a brancard with red blankets in the car.
