The next model featured in my Brooklin in Illinois series is the 1938 Chrysler Imperial Eight Series C-19 Coupe in Chinchilla Gray Poly (BRK211).  The background photo shows the Poplar Grove Vintage Wings & Wheels Museum in northern Illinois.  The airplane in the photo is a 1/48 scale diecast P-36 made by Carousel1.  The P-36 was used in the late 1930's and early 1940's by the US and other countries.  The Brooklin model has a lot of individual plated parts, including the windshield surround, making it a very nice model.

I am also including some photos showing the inside of the museum.

Love it, Ed! I have the very dark green '37 Imperial convertible.

What a great-looking car in a wonderful environment ! That is also a very cool Curtiss Hawk pursuit plane also in this perfect setting.

Excellent layout Ed. The car, the plane and hanger are all period correct.

An even better model to photo would have been this USA model:

@mg-harv

It would make a nice photo, but isn’t this a Motor City model?

@ed-davis Yep, and it's a 2-door. But the best match I could find to the 1:1 pics.
