This next post in my Brooklin in Illinois series features the 1956 Lincoln Premier convertible in Huntsman Red. The background photo shows a house designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright in the western Chicago suburb of River Forest. It is known as the J. Kibben Ingalls house. Mr. Ingalls commissioned Wright to design it in 1909.

You can't do much better than a '56 Premiere (in that color combo) in a setting like that!
That Brooklin is as classically cool as can be - GREAT shot!
- Ed, great picture showing the ‘56 Lincoln parked in front of the house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. If you said that you had built the house in 1:43 I would have believed you. A realistic background is a great way to showcase a model. It seems to me that you got the proportions just right.

Love the car, love the house, love the picture. Nice job Ed.
I always look forward to your timeless images, Ed. Thank you.
What a superb looking 1956 Lincoln Premiere ! I have the Brooklin 1956 Premiere in black as detailed by John Roberts that I happily won a few years ago at one of the Countryside Shows.
Just south of Oak Park, Riverside, IL also has three beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright houses and they would likewise make excellent backdrops from any car, 1:1 or 1:43 !
