Here is the next picture in my Brooklin in Illinois series, which was also posted on the BCC Facebook page.  It shows BRK124x, 1966 Ford Mustang GT350-H in metallic green. The background photo shows the Original Dog Tracks restaurant in Barrington, Illinois.  Unlike many restaurants in the Chicago area, which started small and later enlarged and modernized, this one has remained the same for many years. Regarding the name, "Dog" is from hotdogs and "Tracks" is from the railroad tracks running behind the building.

That is a very cool Dog Tracks picture Ed. I have the car but not the know how to plug in a picture like that. Loved the story too. Now I need to chase down some other pics in the series.  Smile

@stewil

There are eight models, which I have shown in this series to date. I started this summer, probably in August, with the BCC Facebook page, and then started showing them here. Also, the first four appeared in recent MARonline.

I have more planned, approximately one every two weeks until I run out of Brooklin models. Stay tuned. If this series becomes popular, I will have to buy more Brooklin models.

Ed that is good to hear. Tried to locate them but was not able to. Might you have time to post links to the originals? Remembered that I had the same Mustang in a display so I thought you might like to see mine in the display, a 16' 1/43rd scale small town on a busy Saturday. The Diner is located on the west side.

I do not have the photos accessible on the internet, but if you send me your email address, I will send them to you.

@ed-davis

Ed it is a Danbury Mint Coca-Cola building, 1/43ed scale. There were a total of five I believe, including a McDonalds.

Here are the others:  the Diner, Stanley's Drug Store, a Country Store and a Soda Fountain.
