A popular car on American roads, Brooklin has done a beautiful replica. Nice to see every day cars done in 1:43.  (Can’t remember if I have posted this car before.)

My memories of the '53 Ford center on it as the last Ford with the flat-head V8, the most apparent variation from the '52 being the center bar in the grill, and the line had a nice convertible.   Here's mine:

The '53 Ford is the first car I ever bought at age 17.  It was light brown with dark brown interior.  John Roberts kindly did a Brooklin up in those colors for me and I will never part with it!

I remember seeing the Brooklin 1953 Ford at the Countryside show last October. It is a very nice model. If I had not bought two other models, I might have bought it. I would love to see this model get some of the NB Center modifications, scraping for window trim and lens.

@ben-lampson The '53 Fords given out to participants at the NB center in November had these stickers attached. So there shouldn't be more than six dozen or so around like this.

Thanks, Ben, for posting the “My Take” on the ‘53 Ford by John Kuvakas.  I now recall seeing it and he is spot on. It is a nice model of this popular car of the mid fifties. Here are a few more pictures.

I believe you did post this one before, I remember your photos. No worries, a model as nice as this one can be shown on a regular basis-it's OK with me.

I really like this one, enough that I had two of them, until I went to the NB Center, now I have three of them. One of mine has the original whitewalls, the other is dressed in black walls and then the NB Center is still boxed. I want to take one of them and add a white top to it for a future project.
