Great review and a magnificent model of this Buick by Brooklin. Very nice !
Thank-you John for your review. I had almost forgotten how gorgeous all the 1965 models were. I love the fine Ford family but GM stylists knocked out a grand slam too and Brooklin hasn't disappointed collectors. Wow, I want one !
As always, John, a great review. I have always loved the ‘67 Buicks. In my senior year in college I used to draw cars on my smooth top desks. Other students would on occasion scribble, “David, draw me a… .” The Buick with it’s side sweep was fun to draw. My Brooklin ‘67 Wildcat is the Champagne Poly version which was the first one issued to be followed by the Maroon Poly offering. Both are gorgeous.

'67 Wildcat (among other model years) is interesting to me because it shares body styling with the LeSabre, but rides on the longer Electra chassis. I never quite understood that.

There sure are a lot of gems out there created by John Roberts. That’s a beautiful car, Michel.

I heard that John Roberts has been taking a hiatus from his wizardry--- a well deserved artist's sabbatical. Does anyone know when he may be accepting 'commissions'?
And David, I should have grabbed a Brooklin Champagne Wildcat. My dad had a full size Buick in that exact color and I sure don't foresee other late 60s Buicks coming our way. I forgot what happens to those that hesitate!
Maybe I'm wrong, but the two-color Buick looks pretty dark. Put inside of my furniture on a shelf, I have the impression that it would take a lot of clarity to see it properly? I think that with the champagne color, it will be better seen but I would not have painted the dashboard black.

Mark; I of course won't speak for JR, but I think he has pretty much retired.
@jack-dodds He has certainly contributed to the art of 1:43 modelling.
Have you, or anyone on the Forum heard of others who can be similarly 'commissioned' to put some extra detail into a standard issue model? I realize I cant expect a gallery piece like a genuine JR, but just an enhancement that I wouldn't dare attempt myself.
Hey maybe even a fellow Forum member -- some are mighty accomplished from what I've seen here. If anyone has an idea or suggestion please email me using the address in my Profile, thanks.
