Cadillac 1962 Series 62 Convertible Conquest Madison...Originally,this Cadillac convertible only existed in an open version with the hood folded.
I wanted to make a custom one for it; i prefer it that way. 😊Â

Excellent work. The Conquest models of the 62 Cadillac are among my favorite 1/43 scale cars. I have the convertible, top down, a Coupe DeVille and a Sedan DeVille. Thanks for posting as these models are seldom seen. IMO the quality of these models is equal to, or even better than, MOC.
Outstanding model and a fabulous job w/the top. This is one of my favorite models. I don't have a convertible, still looking. I'd prefer the closed version as well; sorry one was never made. I'll have to be content with mine from GLM. I do have a Fleetwood Sixty Special and Sedan de Ville, paid a good amount for them, but no worries, they are well worth it, exceptional models.
As to Conquest Madison models, they are one of the best in white metal range. Made in UK for Holland these miniatures had a great reputation in the model world. Unfortunately, I don't remember, what manufacturer made this range for Hank van Asten. Western Models, SMTS ot somebody else?
A superb series of images of this beautifully-upgraded Cadillac ! It looks wonderful in this modified form and that is a great color, too. The model is sure shown off to it's best in these photographs.
