Came across a Neo 1967 Cadillac Eldorado in green at a decent price and has been shipped today. '67 Eldorado's were discussed in an earlier post that I initiated, and someone recommended the green (I don't know what the official color code is) version, so I decided to search for one to add to my collection. I already have the white one and am pleased with it. Some of my 1:24's are being sacrificed (via auctions)to afford some of these tiny treasures. ;o)
I picked up a red one some time ago, had to pay a premium but I really like it.

The red one is really beautiful, pricey though.
(PICS) Yes, that red one really pops, and here is a '63 also...

Hey Lloyd, on the 63 Eldorado.......
Hey Lloyd,
On the 63 Eldorado, do you know what donor car supplied the roof? I tried to do the same conversion using a Vitesse 1958 Buick, but the roof is slightly narrower then what is needed. Length wise it was fine.
Thanks!
Alfred
That Eldo was a transformation by Claude Thibivilliers for me from the Franklin Mint version. The top may have been manufactured by hand or otherwise, I do not know.
I believe that was me Greg - the Neo looks like Pinecrest Green Poly.
Yes, and thanks for your opinion/recommendation! I'm trying to add a variety of colors to my collection.
Thanks Lloyd, beautiful work by Claude as always!
Wow! Love that '63.
