Just sorting through some old boxes in a cupboard and came across this unbuilt 1:32 Lindberg kit of a Chevy Monza coupe.
I thought this was quite a pretty car from most angles, although I would have liked it better if they had made the nose less boxy and put the headlamps behind flush covers, rather than sitting in those crude little recesses.
Anyway, I just wondered if anyone had come across a 1:43 version? The only Monza 2+2s I can find (built or kit) are racing versions with huge spoilers that completely ruin the looks (unless you're a racing fan, obviously).
Browsing online yesterday I found pic of a model on eBay which claimed to be 1:43 (and also claimed to be "very rare", with an asking price of something like US$150.)
No markings on the base, and the grey finish and the wheels make it look suspiciously like a 1:25 plastic kit or dealer promo, although those normally go for about US$30 - $35.
Oddly enough, when I searched again today to check the seller's details, for the life of me I couldn't track it down again. Can some mad person have bought it overnight?
Anyway, has anyone come across one of these? Not that I have any intention of paying that kind of money for it, I'm just curious.

Pretty sure that is the MPC promo - here is a green one - check out those wheels!

Yes, as I suspected. 1:25.

You are too kind, Harvey.
A "straight" 1:43 without aero enhancements would still be nice.
