LOVE the scale & the color!
I would be delighted to have this, or any other replica, of the beautiful and fabled Chrysler Norseman show car. What a superb color for this one, too.
Rich, I have the Minichamps. The Minichamps looks much sharper to me based on your pictures. The details are superb including the radio antenna on the left rear fender. It appears yours has windows in the up position while the windows are in the down position on mine.
I have the GADM Predictor. It hasn't held up very well.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
I guess I'm late to the game here but why does this 1:1 concept car and model of it get so much attention ?
Steve
@100ford2003 The 1956 Chrysler Norseman was a concept car that actually could have gone into production. It was a Virgil Exner design hand built by Ghia of Italy for about $200,000. It was being shipped back to the US aboard the Italian liner Andrea Doria when it collided at sea with the Swedish ship "Stockholm" and sank. It was an event that was world news back when I was a kid. Some diver actually saw what he thought was the rusted remains of the Norseman but its position in the crumbling ship's hold made it unlikely no one else will ever see it again.
@mg-harv Makes me sorry I didn't wait for this Minichamps. However, way back when, if you wanted Motorama and other concept cars, GADM was it. Thanx for the picx, Harv.
@rich-sufficool A GADM Norseman just sold at Ralston today for $270, plus commission.
I also have the GADM version and I like it because it is metal. Since, no 1:, just photos, good reason to have any version.
One I wish would have been done in 1/24. I'm wondering why they didn't have a second one made and shipped. Cost maybe??🤔
