This transporter is one of my favorites in my collection - acquired it probably 20 years ago. Diecast with great features - check out the real cloth seats (and on door panels, but hard to see in the photos), front wheels that turn, opening doors and engine bay (not shown). The directions to remove/assemble the ramps are so detailed that I've never attempted (even with special tool that comes with the model!!) for fear of doing damage.

Take your time and go for it! In this scale, you can achieve some terrific set-ups & displays! 😎 😎 😎
CMC did a brilliant job on this transporter in 1/43. I have since bought three other versions, all well done but somehow, not quite as nice as this original.
Ted,
Wonderful post and appreciate the detailed pictures of the transporter. Remembered that I had one in a display, went and looked and discovered two other transporters I had forgotten about (rarely look at these GP/F1's any more). Love your track background and here is how I displayed mine.
Alfred Neubauer the Mercedes racing manager is speaking to Sterling Moss.
Here is the entire GP/F1 display laid out in an evolutionary way, older leading to later race cars. Non winged left, transitioning to winged and ground effect cars right.
Models = Miracles in miniature = Holding History in ones hand
Cheers and Happy Collecting,
Steve
Thanks guys, and I love the photos from everyone else! And I need to find a Neubauer figure - he was a force in that era!
Jay Leno's Swedish replica - on the highway, photos of it being built, etc.....
