Here are a couple of early Brooklin models. The look and charm of this older Brooklin release has always intrigued me, but until mid-2022, I hadn't made them a part of my collection. I came across these two and added them at the same time. The darker green version received a set of whitewall tires to bring it a different attitude. For me, both are a very interesting pair.

Great pics as usual, John!
The dark green one was my very first 30's model, an era I hadn't had much interest in, but it was on eBay at such an appealing price that I bought it...and LOVED it!
I now have more than 30 1/43s from the 30's in my collection but that '37 Chevy, plain and simple as it is, is special to me because it led me to a new area of interest!

Both good looking but the darker car is fetching!
The dark green version was one of my earlier Brooklins and is still a favorite. I have said before that Brooklin models of thirties cars have a delicacy and detail that hold up well even today. The Buick and Pontiac collections are prime examples of this IMO.

I have this but it was a later addition to my line-up of U.S. '30s cars. It became a 'must have' precisely for its stoic plainness, after the flash 'n' dash of the Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg, and prohibition era.
It is a terrific-looking Chevrolet as well as Brooklin replica of it. The shades of green are really nice and I would have a tough time deciding between having it with whitewall tires or a blackwall look. The solution, as here, is to obtain both !
@bob-jackman Agree - in fact, the Brooklin models from the '30s were what prompted me to have some models from that decade - it seems to have been a sweet spot for Brooklin IMHO.
John, this ‘37 Chevrolet Master coupe has long been one of my favorite Brooklins. Mine is the darker green one. If I’m correct your light green one was made in Canada before John Hall moved to England. The whitewalls look sharp. Thanks for your great post featuring this nice early Brooklin.
