I saw this one pictured here and liked it, ordered it from France, and it just arrived.  My first impression is "IT'S BIG!"  I haven't unpackaged it yet, even though I doubt I would mail it back to France for a refund.  What do other 1/43 folks think?  (I'm adding the only 1:1 picture I've seen of this one. Click on the pictures for enlargement.)

(Later)  Okay, I couldn't resist opening it.  Here it is alongside a '34 Dodge Coca-Cola Special from Motor City Classics. Maybe it's just a tall (Very!) truck, as suggested in the 1:1 photo.

Can't resist the comparison:

And so it goes onto my crowded shelves.

Kind of under another favorite:

Any idea of the date of that pic David? If you look two vehicles up from your Coke van, you can see what looks like a van with Waterman ads (as in Waterman fountain pens and ink). A French company called PR made this one in diecast many years ago, certainly one of those colorful support vehicles from the Tour de France bicycle race. Quite rare - wish I had one.

The crowd picture that included a Coca-Cola truck was posted here on the forum on 13/03/2022 by Randy Rusk.  I've tried to track its origin with no luck so far.  As for the Waterman. . . WOW!

(later)  There are two of the Waterman trucks on eBay right now, listed as RARE Waterman Publicity Van for Tour de France ca. 1950 mfg. by PR.   Brace yourself before looking at the desired bid.

As for me, while looking for something else back in a corner of my workshop, I found this, a 1937 Dodge.  Yes, Dodge decided to use the abandoned Airflow stampings that Chrysler had attempted a few years earlier.  As to the historical authenticity of this one?  Well, that's another project. (Sometimes it's fun to be retired.)

@d-m-holcombe I did a reverse image search on Google and found a website that had this for the photo caption: On August 12, 1951, the Tour de France arrived at the Bordeaux velodrome stadium.

Norev reissued them a while ago, under the CIJ name (strange!)  - so be careful!
