The attached photos show a Conquest 1955 DeSoto two door hardtop in a LEGO setting.  The LEGO building is a kit call Andrea's House and has several interesting features and details.  My favorite is an operating garage door that will accommodate a 1/43 scale car.  The two people and the front door are a little big for 1/43 scale, but are still reasonable for the background.  I bought the building for my wife's grand daughter (8 years old) during a recent visit.  I chose it to see how the garage door worked.  It had about 800 parts, and she built it in 1 day, probably quicker that I would.

Enjoy the photos.

LOL! That looks great Ed. You should show your pics to your grand daughter.

@mg-harv

I also have a 1956 DeSoto 2 door hardtop, but mine is white and pink. The colors on your model look very nice.  What are the colors called?

My DeSoto's out in the country away from houses.  It's another '56, this one by Collector's Classics/ Buby, and the Adventurer.

The exhaust pipe exits are kind of unusual.  Probably necessitated some bumper cleaning?

Just showing another set of colors, here is my 1956 DeSoto in white and pink.  DeSoto sure had a nice variety of colors back in the mid 1950's.

Both the '55 & '56 DeSoto models are very well done. Exceptional colors shown.

I remember the first DeSoto I fell in love with...1957 !  I was 4yrs old and now as I've aged I love the '55 & '56 too.

Ahh, I loved the decades when you could immediately recognize a particular car/model brand.

All of these DeSoto models are beautiful.

Thanks for the pics !

Steve
