Who's going to the October Countryside hobby show? I'm probably going but don't think I'll bring any models to offer for sale until March. Sometimes there's a lot of activity in 1:43 and in other years it was flat. One year I bought the only white metal 1:43 that a well know dealer sold at that Fall show.

March for me. Between the Chattanooga Motorcar Festival and horse racing, not to mention continuing ed classes for fun, I'm booked for October. Plus I've been spending a lot lately (both model cars and an outdoor remodeling project).

I'm afraid my trips to Chicago are over. I dearly loved both the 1/43 show and Countryside and seeing my fellow collectors but age has told me that it's time to give up the 1600 plus mile trip.

Turns out that I won't be going after all due to family scheduling conflicts and dealing with bursitis in my left leg. Looking forward to Countryside in March.
