Dark Horse 1950 Oldsmobile and Neo 1950 Oldsmobile club coupe fastback comparison.............(pics)
I have to say, that I am really impressed with my first Dark Horse model.
It really stands up to the Neo at less than half the price.... I got it MIB for $40!
It has all the detail the Neo has (excellent photo-etch and scripts), and the paint is just as good!
What do you guys think?

I like them. I think I have the blue Oldsmobile. Might have to take a look at the other.

I always liked the bass mouth grilles on the Oldsmobiles.
Out of all the GM fastbacks I think the Olds had the cleanest style. I too have the Darkhorse blue olds and also a black fastback but in 1/64

Nice comparison BenD. I have both and like both. I recently added the Motor City hardtop to my MOC convertible. I guess I like 1950 Oldsmobiles.

The Dark Horse models could be bought for a pittance in the past. This was their test entry into the 1/43 field but they abandoned the idea early. Really a shame because they are excellent models. I have both the blue and the yellow versions and my records show I bought them at $29.95 each with shipping.

Or less - I found a black-over-yellow one for 20 bucks in 2018.
