I picked up the Vermont Green version from Buz in 2012. Not a model I had planned to buy, but in person I could not resist it once seen.

Ben: I must agree that the Packard in Black looks fantastic. A real "formal "look.

I love both of them. The black looks very formal. I wish these would be reissued.

BRK 18B is one of my favorite Brooklins.

It has nice lines and although I quite like the light blue on it, it would really suit a 2-tone.

Some more of a favorite era of Packards:

Sorry, it's easy for me to get "carried away" when Packards are featured.

Here's another from that time that is not mentioned often enough, IMO.

All the above are great looking models.  I thought I would add a couple of pictures of my one and only Packard.  It is an Automodello 1938 Packard Twelve Convertible Victoria. I purchased this in 2013, and I think it is the second 1/43 scale model car I purchased.

Ed, if you can have only one Packard of the golden classic era, I think you have made a good choice.  Well done!

Automodello made some very nice models a number of years ago. They seemed to stop making 1/43 models to focus on 1/24 scale. Are they still in business and if so, any recent models in 1/43??

@kenspear The last 1:43 Jim Cowen offered was the Alan Fraser Sunbeam Tiger. I don't keep up with his 1:24 offerings but they have certainly taken center stage with him.

Magnificent classic Packard, Larry.  As your only 1:43, you have a prime example.  Well done!
