Diecast Direct Issue........

Anybody had any issue dealing with Diecast Direct? I bought a model 2/26 and paid with a debit card. The transaction is clearly posted in my bank account. They say they never received payment. I even sent a screen shot of my statement ........ no response.

I have bought from Diecast Direct for many years. I have not had any issues.

No issues with them over many years but I always use a credit card.  In my opinion, using a debit card with any merchant is very risky because one is essentially giving them access to ones bank account.  Credit card charges can always be disputed if there is an issue and one is not out any money in that event.  My debit card is restricted to use at the bank's ATM or bank teller counter. Just one man's opinion and practice.

I just got BRK 28x a few days ago (see separate posting), and 5 Goldvargs before that. Never any problems. You might check with your bank, perhaps they can intercede with DD and let them know they were paid.

@mg-harv Nothing is resolved as far as today.

They acknowledged they got a confirmed payment 3 weeks ago but they never shipped the order not even sent a confirmation order. The order is not even posted in my account.

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced buying scale models in USA. Yesterday, after a conversation with a supposed "MANAGER" I have been told nothing can be done for their mistake to make my shipment a " Priority" and It will only be processed at the queue of their standard shipping process in many days to come because they are overwhelmed.

As far as I am concerned, this dealer, DIECAST DIRECT is on my blacklist forever.

@john-quilter For your information, either Debit or CC is a protected and safe transaction. All can be disputed in the even of suspected fraud.

Yes, but as I understand it, with a debit card the merchant has your funds pending the resolution of the dispute.  With a credit card a dispute absolves you from paying that item on your monthly bill during the time the dispute is settled in your favor or not.  You are not out any funds during that process.
